This Is Not A Gateway are putting out a call for Festival Participants. The next proposal round closes on 10 August 2008. 

This round, TINAG is requsting proposals from emerging scholars, researchers and those working on community-led initiatives. If you have ever thought your masters' dissertation or doctorate research on cities shouldn't sit on a shelf but find new audiences, why not consider either organising a short presentation on your findings or arranging a round table discussion that could further develop your ideas?

If you work for an urban regeneration organisation and a problem has been niggling at you, why not get some people together from different disciplines to hightlight the history, delivery and implications of your concerns? Strands include human rights, migration, ecology and housing.

 The results of all the workshops, exhibitions, presentations and round-table discussions will be bound and distributed to readers in TINAG's post-festival book; building emerging and critical knowledge about cities from the ground up.
