INVESTORS
One of the motivations for establishing This Is Not A Gateway was to demonstrate the possibilities of financially and culturally accessible arenas and platforms. The 2009 festival was produced on a micro-budget and as a result of entirely voluntary hours. However with over 100 participants from across Europe, over 80 events in three venues - a budget, though small was needed.
The 2009 This Is Not A Gateway Festival was made possible with the support from:
- Openvizor.com
- Arts Council England + Arts Council England - Grants For the Arts Lottery Funding
- Grassroots Grants
We were very grateful for the in-kind support from:
- London Borough of Tower Hamlets // The Kobi Nazrul Centre
- Cockpit Arts
- SDNA
- Christ Church Spitalfields // Hanbury Community Project
- Tom Flynn
The festival would not have been possible without the contributions of our interns:
- Alisa Brem
- Rachael Davidson
